Jerry Stiller, the comic and actor greatest recognized for his position as Frank Costanza on Seinfeld, died on the age of 92. His son Ben Stiller confirmed the information in a Twitter submit Monday morning.
“I am unhappy to say that my father, Jerry Stiller, handed away from pure causes,” Ben Stiller wrote. “He was a fantastic dad and grandfather, and probably the most devoted husband to Anne for about 62 years. He can be enormously missed. Love you Dad.” Anne Meara, who was the opposite half of Stiller’s comedy duo Stiller & Meara, beforehand died at the age of 85 in 2015.
Jerry Stiller was born on June 8, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York. He served within the U.S. Military towards the top of World Struggle II and returned to New York after, which is the place he ultimately met his future spouse and comedy accomplice, Anne Meara. Stiller was married to Meara till her dying in 2015. He’s survived by his son Ben, daughter Amy, and two grandchildren.
