Kenny Rogers, the nation music singer and actor, died Friday in Sandy Springs, Georgia at age 81. An announcement from his family posted on Twitter learn that Rogers “handed away peacefully at residence from pure causes underneath the care of hospice and surrounded by his household.”
Recognized for hits together with “The Gambler,” “Lucille,” and “Islands within the Stream,” — one among many collaborations with buddy Dolly Parton — the Nation Music Corridor of Famer bought greater than 100 million albums worldwide and produced greater than 120 hit singles.
