CBS isn’t placing extra money into Broke. The community simply introduced that the brand new comedy had been cancelled so there wouldn’t be second season of the Thursday night time TV present.
The Broke sitcom follows a single suburban mom named Jackie (Pauley Perrette) who’s struggling to make ends meet whereas elevating her younger son, Sammy (Antonio Raul Corbo). Their lives are turned the wrong way up when Jackie’s estranged sister, Elizabeth (Natasha Leggero); her sister’s big-hearted, Latin husband, Javier (Jaime Camil); and Javier’s fiercely loyal assistant/driver/good friend, Luis (Izzy Diaz), land on her doorstep.
Up to now, season one in all Broke is averaging a 0.69 rating within the 18-49 demo and 5.55 million viewers, making it one in all CBS‘ lowest-rated comedy sequence for the 2019-20 season. The present had a mediocre premiere and the numbers have dropped fairly persistently every week.
