A black comedy conspiracy thriller sequence, the Utopia TV present is impressed by the British sequence of the identical title and comes from best-selling creator Gillian Flynn. The story facilities on a gaggle of comedian followers who meet on-line and bond over their obsession with a seemingly fictional comedian referred to as, “Utopia.” Collectively, Becky (LaThrop), Ian (Byrd), Samantha (Rothe), Wilson Wilson (Borges), and Grant (Walton) unearth hidden meanings cloaked inside the pages of the comedian that predict impending threats to humanity.

The present was initially ordered to sequence in 2014 by HBO however was moved to Amazon 4 years later. The primary season of 9 episodes was launched on September 25th. The choice to cancel the sequence comes days after Amazon introduced that The Expanse had been renewed for a sixth and closing season.
