Netflix Series Certified Fresh 85 Rating Rottentomatoes 2024

Pictures: Netflix

As we’ve hit the midway point of 2024, we thought it’d be a good time to reflect on the best of the best (at least according to critics) regarding the new movies and series that have dropped so far this year. Let’s begin with all 11 series that achieved a Certified Fresh rating plus check in with what shows have picked up an 85% or above score otherwise.

Want to see all the Netflix series (and movies) released in 2023 that got the coveted Certified Fresh rating? We’ve covered all of those here.

A few caveats to this list are below. RottenTomatoes, while sourcing reviews from hundreds of websites, often doesn’t cover many of Netflix’s international offerings, or if websites do, there’s usually not enough to get a Certified Fresh rating. Given this, we’ve included any title with an 85%+. It’s not a perfect system (in fact, it’s pretty dreadful), but everyone seems to treat RT as gospel, so here we are!

As a quick recap of how Certified Fresh works, TV shows require 20 reviews, all maintaining a 75% or higher score to qualify. This status is constantly monitored, and if the score drops below 70%, the “Certified Fresh” badge is revoked.

Note: All review data was correct as of June 30th, 2024—titles listed in order of release (oldest to newest).
