Dina Lipancu hints Carolina Quixano “played” her on ‘The Bachelor’

Dina Lipancu has teased that her friendship with Carolina Quixano is going to come to an end on The Bachelor.

On Episode 4 of The Bachelor’s 29th season, Dina defended Carolina and comforted her during a group date when Carolina was feeling attacked by Juliana Pasquarosa for having doubts about her relationship with Grant Ellis.

But Dina hinted via TikTok on Tuesday that her empathy and understanding for Carolina didn’t last long.

“When you defend the one person nobody else would… just to get played the next week,” Dina, 31, wrote over video footage.

In the video, Dina lip-synced to the viral audio, “Because you know in a moment, it could all boom BOOM!”

And the Chicago attorney captioned the clip, “Your Honor I’d like to withdraw as counsel.”

On The Bachelor’s February 17 episode, Carolina was in her head about her future with Grant after having a romantic one-on-one date with him in Las Vegas.

“I had a great time on our one-on-one, but I still feel like I don’t know him,” Carolina announced to women during a group date in Madrid, Spain.

“It’s almost like how do you get engaged after one date essentially? I really like him but I also still barely know the guy.”

Litia Garr thought Carolina was coming across “ungrateful and entitled,” and Juliana vented to the cameras about how Carolina was so “unappreciative” and it was really “unsettling” for her.

Juliana said if Carolina felt that unsure about Grant, she should pack her bags and leave. But Carolina insisted her doubts were natural and she truly felt potential with Grant.

Juliana ended up telling Grant about Carolina’s complaints, and it made Grant feel uneasy about his relationship with Carolina going forward.

“You know what, I feel for Carolina. I think she’s misunderstood in a lot of ways. But at the end of the day, I think she wants to see and does see a future with Grant,” Dina explained in a confessional.

Dina then told a conflicted Carolina, “You were one of the early one-on-ones, as was Alexe Godin. And so you want to hold on to all of the moments. You want to hold onto the conversation and the connection that you think you had and you probably did have.”

“And then it’s, like, taken away from you,” Dina elaborated. “So I feel you and I see you.”

Carolina got emotional and grabbed Dina’s hand as a gesture of thanks for her support.

“I love you. And thank you… I don’t think that a lot of people would — Oh my God, I’m going to cry. I love you,” Carolina replied.

“I really respect you and love you for that and thank you for seeing me.”

Dina wiped tears from Carolina’s eyes and added, “I do see you. I see a lot of myself in you.”

But in a preview of The Bachelor’s upcoming episode on Monday, February 24, Dina vents her frustrations over Carolina spending extra time with Grant during a group date in Scotland.

“Carolina is giving damsel in distress energy,” Dina says in a confessional. “She takes him away and they’re gone for the rest of the day.”

After the group date, Dina confronts Carolina.

“Today when you decided to monopolize Grant’s time,” Dina says, to which Carolina replies, “I can’t account for the weather Gods.”

Sarafiena Watkins and Zoe McGrady appear to take Dina’s side in the dispute, and then tensions boil over later on.

“You’re like, ‘I’m taking Grant and I’m gone,'” Dina complains, to which Carolina argues, “But I did not take him!”

“Oh my god,” Dina vents.

“I have to go,” Carolina says, walking away from Dina.

“Are you going to go talk to Grant? Because that would be crazy,” Dina murmurs.

As Carolina walks up a staircase, she throws her arms in the air and proudly declares, “I guess I’m crazy and evil!”

Carolina recently defended her behavior on Grant’s The Bachelor season. She wrote via Instagram Stories on Monday, February 17, “God forbid you’re not sure about a man you’ve been on one date with.”
