Kenya Moore has been booted from The Real Housewives of Atlanta ahead of its sixteenth season.

Kenya, 53, won’t be returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for Season 16, which is currently filming and slated to premiere in 2025, after posting explicit photos of new cast member, Brittany Eady, People reported.

The rest of The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members were informed of Kenya’s exit on Tuesday, June 25.

According to sources close to production, the decision came from Bravo, and Us Weekly reported that “a return hasn’t been discussed” for Kenya yet.

Kenya took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to comment on the news of her departure from the series.

“You are the best fans anyone could ever ask for. and I love you all so very much,” Kenya wrote on Tuesday. “Always and forever.”

Kenya also included the hashtag #TEAMTWIRLFOREVER in her post.

While a People source claimed Bravo decided to cut Kenya from the show, TMZ reported that Bravo and Kenya had come to a mutual agreement.

Insiders also told TMZ that Kenya is exploring her legal options “because she’s not happy with how this whole mess unfolded.”

Earlier this month, Kenya had been suspended indefinitely from The Real Housewives of Atlanta until Bravo could complete an investigation into the reality TV star’s alleged revenge porn incident.

Bravo’s investigation into the release of the photos reportedly resulted in Kenya’s firing.

While The Real Housewives of Atlanta was filming its sixteenth season on June 6, Kenya showcased posters of Brittany performing oral sex at the grand opening of her new Kenya Moore Hair Spa in Atlanta, GA.

The man in the explicit images has yet to be reported, but the posters allegedly leaked online.

Brittany — who did not attend the spa event — admitted via Instagram Stories of Kenya’s stunt, “It’s never a good feeling being targeted or HAZED by someone I thought would embrace me into a new circle, that I never met,” according to the magazine.

The business woman and podcaster also cited Georgia law prohibiting the distribution of sexually explicit images without consent of the person depicted.

Kenya addressed the incident on June 8, writing on X, “I would never engage in revenge porn, I have never distributed private images or footage of anyone, nor solicited images owned by others to use to threaten or blackmail.”

The reality TV star added, “I have always been vindicated. I can’t talk about STORY even with people planting fake news #sweet16.”

Kenya added via Instagram Stories, “Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see. The truth always comes to light,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Kenya subsequently took to Instagram Live on June 14 and told her followers, “You will be seeing me. I’m not going anywhere despite all this stuff.”

News of Kenya’s exit from The Real Housewives of Atlanta comes shortly after she and her ex-husband, Marc Daly, settled their divorce on Friday, June 21. The pair had announced their split five years ago.

A source recently told People that Kenya created the posters after Brittany had allegedly verbally threatened the spa owner by using the word “gun.”

Another source close to production, however, claimed, “At no time was Kenya ever threatened with a weapon nor was there ever a weapon present during the course of production.”

And Brittany attempted to clarify what happened in her Instagram Stories posting earlier this month.

“For the record,” Brittany explained, “I’ve never once had possession of any weapons or threatened anyone ever. I’ve never been to jail, in fight, or even had as much as a speeding ticket. That’s not my character.”

“I am hurt by the narrative that’s being displayed. Wrong is wrong,” she included.

Bravo has yet to officially comment or announce its decision about Kenya’s departure from The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Kenya had announced that she’d be returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta in April.

Kenya has been a cast member on the The Real Housewives of Atlanta since Season 5, which aired in 2012. She also competed on The Celebrity Apprentice’s seventh season in 2015.
