The fate of several CW shows hang in the balance ahead of the upcoming fall TV season.
The recent cancelation of Batwoman and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, after three and seven seasons, respectively, some fans are on the edge about what that could indicate for some of their favorite shows who didn’t snag an early renewal.
So far, the following shows are awaiting a decision from the network about whether or not they’ll live to see another season:

It seems as though having loyal and dedicated fanbases just isn’t going to cut it this time around as The CW swings its proverbial ax down on shows that simply aren’t meeting rating expectations. But since many of us are so invested in the storylines, let’s hope that they are in a good mood when the decision is finally made.
Both Batwoman and Legends of Tomorrow didn’t expect to see their run cut short.
“Well, folks. It’s been an incredible run. However, the CW has let us know that there will be no Season 8 of #LegendsOfTomorrow,” co-showrunner and executive producer, Keto Shimizu, wrote on Twitter. “We are heartbroken, but also immensely grateful for the amazing work our cast, crew and writers have contributed to the little show that could.”
Meanwhile, writer and creator Caroline Dries posted: “Just got the sad news that #Batwoman will not be seeing an S4. I am bummed, but full of gratitude. What an honor to make 51 episodes. So many inspiring, brilliant people contributed to this series. Thank you producers, cast and crew. Thank you, fans! We love you.
It’s unclear when a decision will come down, but The CW definitely seems to be weighing all their options.
