Return of the historical drama, starring Suranne Jones as controversial 19th-century landowner Anne Lister. A month on from their private marriage ceremony, Anne and Ann consider moving in together at Shibden Hall – a prospect that horrifies Ann’s protective family, even if they are not quite sure what it is they disapprove of. The couple prepare for a honeymoon abroad, but the devastated Mariana Lawton’s jealousy signals more trouble ahead.
