Resident Alien Renewed for Season 4 With a Twist

NBCUniversal has renewed “Resident Alien” for a fourth season. The show will be moving from Syfy to USA Network. The episode count for the new season has not yet been announced. The series, based on the Dark Horse comics, follows an alien named Harry (played by Alan Tudyk) who originally came to Earth to exterminate humanity but ends up deciding to save it after forming bonds with the residents of Patience, Colorado​​.

In the Season 3 finale of “Resident Alien,” which aired on April 3, Harry, with the help of Joseph, managed to stop the Greys’ plan to destroy Earth using Yellowstone. Additionally, D’Arcy helped save Kate and Ben’s baby, Sheriff Mike encountered an alien for the first time, and Liv was reunited with the alien tracker.

“Resident Alien” features an impressive cast led by Alan Tudyk, including Sara Tomko, Alice Wetterlund, Corey Reynolds, Levi Fiehler, Elizabeth Bowen, Meredith Garrettson, and Judah Prehn. The show also includes notable guest stars such as Edi Patterson, Terry O’Quinn, Enver Gjokaj, Gary Farmer, Sarah Podemski, and Linda Hamilton.

The series was adapted for television by Chris Sheridan, who serves as the showrunner and executive producer. Additional executive producers include Mike Richardson and Keith Goldberg of Dark Horse Entertainment, Justin Falvey and Darryl Frank of Amblin TV, and Nastaran Dibai​.
