During this week’s episode of the series, fans watched as Amy and Michael Halterman packed up and moved from their old house to their new one. Fans on Reddit admit the moving process was bizarre. They’d never seen someone who packed and moved everything all in one day.
Pretty early on in the episode, Amy Halterman gets emotional while talking to her sister Misty. Misty asks what is wrong and Amy explains she is worn out and mentally exhausted. Not seeing Gage’s crib where it belonged in her home was what set her emotions off. Though, fans suspect if Amy was pregnant during this scene pregnancy hormones were also a factor. Misty reassured her sister that Gage’s crib was just at its new location in her new house. Misty doubled down by pointing out this was a step forward, not a step backward.
Amy Halterman knew this was everything she wanted. But, it was still an emotional rollercoaster. On Reddit, 1000-Lb. Sisters fans admit they could have lived without the scene completely.

1000-Lb. Sisters fans with eagle eyes called attention to the rodent droppings on the floor where Gage’s crib was. Some fans speculated they could have also been looking at dead roaches or roach droppings as well.
Either way, 1000-Lb. Sisters fans admitted they were horrified, disgusted, and repulsed by what was lurking underneath Gage’s crib. This scene also caused fans to wonder what critters might be crawling on Gage while he is sleeping. How sanitary is his bed?
1000-Lb. Sisters: Is Amy Halterman ready for another baby?
1000-Lb. Sisters fans admit what was truly horrifying about this scene was the knowledge that Amy and Michael are going to have another baby. Fans point out that Gage is already living in unsanitary conditions. Fans worry these conditions will become even worse when another baby is added to the mix. Are Amy and Michael prepared for the struggles that come with having two small children? Fans don’t think so.
Some fans speculated TLC purposely filmed this scene and zoomed in on the empty space just to call attention to the filth. Overall, however, fans only hope Amy and Michael will take better care of their new home than they did of this one.
