The Alaskan Bush People Star Explained The Reason For The Move

Bear, born Solomon Isaiah Freedom Brown, and the Brown family was featured on Alaskan Bush People, which originally ran from 2014 to 2022. He is married to Raiven Brown, born Raiven Adams.

Taking to Instagram, Bear shared a recent update on his life with fans. The post was paired with a video of Bear walking through snow.

Bear revealed that his family is moving into a new house. As he shared, “So, Raiven and I found a new house and it’s a nice one. And we’re going to be basing out of it while we prepare for Alaska.”

Bear explained that their growing family made the move a necessity. As he explained, “The mountain is still too hard to get up there and be living permanently, especially with young kids.”

The reality TV personality noted that these conditions aren’t too much of an issue for him personally. As he added, “By myself, I could do it, have done it. With the kiddos, not so much an option. Want to keep everyone comfortable and stuff.”

Bear Brown Could Be Seen Walking In A Winter Wonderland

“It’s like seven miles, so you got to snow machine out, cause you’re ploughing out without your own plough. Not gonna happen. I obviously don’t have a plough, but I’m working on it.”

Bear also made sure to point out that his background prepared him for his current life. As he noted, “Luckily, I grew up on ice. Almost bit it.” After all, as fans know, Alaskan Bush People profiled his family as they lived off the grid.

Bear then started to finish the video: “Anyway. I’m actually walking to the entrance of the small town that we are now staying in. But it’s definitely a winter wonderland out here. Anyway, guy, thanks for tuning in. Stay awesome…God bless.”
