But the books-to-TV pipeline in 2024 is just getting started. Netflix is gearing up to release Bridgerton Season 3, based on Romancing Mister Bridgerton by Julia Quinn. Prime Video continues to embrace rom-coms with The Idea of You, the Anne Hathaway and Nicholas Galitzine romance based on the novel of the same name by Robinne Lee.

The show, inspired by Capote’s Women by Laurence Leamer, kept us rapt as the FX limited series explored Truman Capote’s infamous fallout with a bevy of socialites. Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln’s Killer by James L. Swanson was adapted into a riveting Apple TV+ series starring Outlander alum Tobias Menzies.
