Bravo exec and host Andy Cohen admits that he regrets asking Oprah Winfrey this one deeply personal question. She has shared a lot about her life and has never shied away from spilling the tea. Now, Andy is dishing on what he wishes he had never asked her. More so, did she give him a proper answer? Keep reading for more details.

Andy Cohen Regrets Asking Oprah This Personal Question

The one thing about Andy Cohen is that he will say and do whatever he wants. Sometimes it can be off-color but that is to be expected from Andy. He has been accused of sexual harassment by RHOBH alum Brandi Glanville. She claimed that he asked if she wanted to watch him be intimate with a fellow Bravoleb, along with Kate Chastain. He said it was all a joke but she denied this. In the end, he apologized for any misunderstanding it may have caused.

Andy has interviewed some of the most famous people in the world. One of them is the iconic Oprah Winfrey who appeared on WWHL in 2013. He is currently celebrating fifteen years of the hit late-night Bravo series and looking back on some of the best moments. That also includes some of the most cringeworthy and one is when he asked Oprah a question he wished he had not. According to People, Andy asked the former talk show host if she had “taken a dip in the lady pond” and he would definitely take that back.

Andy Cohen went on to say this about the night Oprah appeared on WWHL:

“It meant so much to me that Oprah Winfrey did the show. It’s gone brilliantly and I turn around and ask her if she’s ever had s*x with a woman. I mean, couldn’t I leave it alone?”

So, how did the seventy-year-old respond to the question? She said:

“No, I have not. Thank you.”

At least she was polite when answering but that must have been very awkward for Oprah. However, when one is chatting with Andy, anything can and will happen.

In The Dark

Luckily, Oprah Winfrey had no idea what Andy Cohen meant by the “lady pond.” He learned this through her ride-or-die best friend, Gayle King who told him this:

“Gayle King told me later that week that Oprah didn’t know what I meant by ‘the lady pond.’ I thought I explained it pretty well there, but listen, I was so grateful that Oprah did the show and I still am.”

Even though he holds one of his biggest regrets from that particular episode, it is still one of Andy’s favorite episodes. Having Oprah on the show was a peak that he will never forget. Clearly, there is no bad blood as her best friend, Gayle still comes around which is a great thing.

What do you think of that question? Should Oprah laugh it off and maybe come back on the show again or was it very inappropriate? Let us know in the comments below.
