Per Daily Mail, Jo Mersa was first confirmed dead by a streaming service called TIDAL. While the announcement confirmed Bob Marley’s grandson was found dead in a vehicle in the United States, additional details on where were not made clear.
Per a report via Florida radio station WZPP, Joseph Mersa reportedly suffered with asthma for most of his life. And, the report from the radio station claimed Jo’s cause of death is believed to be related to his asthma.

Now, reports of Bob Marley’s grandson just broke in the past couple of hours and have been extremely lacking of any details. In the past hour, however, TMZ has also published a report confirming Jo Mersa Marley’s death. TMZ also reports sources close to the situation have confirmed his death was asthma-related.
