While they were enjoying this moment together, Carlin learned about her little girl’s newest interest. It looks like the mom and daughter had a great time and Layla found something else to love. These days, as a working mom of two, Carlin has a lot on her plate. She and Evan Stewart are busy raising two-year-old Layla and six-month-old Zade. They run the Bates Sisters Boutique along with Whitney and Zach Bates. From what Carlin and Evan share on social media, it looks like they keep very busy.
Now, Carlin Bates is also dealing with mysterious health issues. While she waits for answers, she’s soaking up some quality time with her daughter and making very special memories.
Carlin Bates Spends Special Time With Layla
On her Instagram Stories on Tuesday night, Carlin gave fans a peek into the fun evening she was having with Layla. The mom and daughter went to Sephora on a little outing together. As you can see in the snaps below, the two-year-old quickly discovered the lipstick aisle.
Carlin Bates let Layla try on some lipstick and then she puckered up and posed for a photo. Carlin asked, “How could I say no to that cute face?”
Carlin acknowledged that the “lipstick aisle may not have been the best choice.” But Layla beamed with joy as she picked up different products.
Finally, in another snap, Layla explained to her mom that she wants to try another lipstick on her lips. Carlin joked that she “started something.” Just from their short trip to the cosmetics store, Layla has picked up a new interest in lipstick.
As TV Shows Ace reported, Carlin Bates recently caught her daughter in the bathroom, painting her own nails and making quite a mess. It seems like Carlin’s daughter has already taken an interest in makeup though.
It looks like Layla’s personality is shining through these days. She’s certainly growing up quickly and will be wearing makeup herself in no time. For now, she’s focusing on potty training. The little girl will turn three in January.
