Tonight it is time for a new Hallmark movie from Ryan Paevey of General Hospital fame. He is in the movie Fourth Down And Love. This has brought up the speculation again about whether his character Nathan West could return to Port Charles. Do you want him back again?
What is Ryan Paevey Up To Now?
Ryan Paevey has been doing various Hallmark movies including one that will air tonight called Fourth Down And Love. He hasn’t been on a soap opera in several years. Ryan has also been attending some conferences to meet fans of the movies. He posts about them on his Instagram and you can get the details there.
He is also working on his handmade silver jewelry business, Fortunate Wanderer. Ryan is very passionate about this and shares about it on his social media as well.
Could He Return To GH?
About a year ago in September of 2022, Ryan Paevey did an interview about if he would return to General Hospital. At the time, Ryan made it sound like he wouldn’t be coming back. He said, “I would say the chances are unbelievably small,” Paevey confessed. “No discussion has been made since then. I think the canvas has long since moved on.” He went on to share more saying:
“I haven’t spoken to anyone in the ranks of GH decision-making in [over] a year. I’m still close friends with a couple of people that I worked with when I was there. But I have no intention of returning as of now. I guess there’s always, ‘Never say never’… you never know. Who knows where this road takes us. But it ain’t on the radar right now.”
His character Nathan West was a police officer who was killed in the line of duty. That doesn’t mean anything in the soap world, though. Sometimes they come back to life and Ryan’s character could do just that. Ryan didn’t make it sound like he wasn’t against the idea, but made it clear that there wasn’t any talk happening about his character returning to General Hospital at that time.
