There’s more exciting news to share in the Dancing With The Stars world! Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy just publicly announced their newest baby’s gender.
Fans were shocked to learn the couple was expecting so soon after having their second son last summer. But after the couple’s fertility hardships, fans also felt overwhelmingly joyful. For many years, Maks and Peta said they would love to have multiple children. Now, their dreams are finally coming true.

Maks Chmerkovskiy & Peta Murgatroyd Announce Their Baby’s Gender
DWTS fans know that Maks Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd already have two little boys at home. So will their third baby be another son, or will they welcome a daughter this time?
The couple just publicly announced the gender and couldn’t be more thrilled.
“It’s a …….BOY! 🩵🩵🩵” Peta shared on Instagram along with an accompanying video. “I’ve been quietly preparing myself to be a real-life wolf pack Mumma with our THIRD baby boy on the way 🙏🏻🤣💙 I CANNOT BELIEVE WE WILL HAVE 3 BOYS!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Maks and I are beyond happy to have another buddy for Shai and Rio…we want them to be the best of friends and thinking about family dinners already makes us laugh! Not to mention when Rio turns 1, I will give birth to this bundle of joy a couple of weeks later 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼”
The professional dancer then asked for name suggestions between 3-5 letters.
Plenty of the couple’s friends and family left excited comments. Fans also said how excited they were for Maks and Peta to welcome another son. Comments included:

The Chmerkovskiys Are Thrilled To Have A Family Of Boys
With the addition of their third son, Maks Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd are officially the “boy family.” Maks’ younger brother Val and his wife Jenna Johnson also have a son, Rome. Val and Jenna have also expressed their desire to have several children, so it’s entirely possible there will be more children on the way before long.
