On Saturday, Sarah Drew’s new movie Branching Out premiered. Hallmark took a big leap by telling a heartwarming story about a young girl who was conceived through IVF, and her desire to meet the other side of her family. Many viewers vowed to boycott the network and this movie over this controversial subject. However, despite some controversy over the subject matter the reaction is different.

Now, viewers love this movie so much they want a sequel to this story.

Hallmark Fans Want Sequel To Controversial Movie Branching Out

Before Hallmark aired their latest romantic comedy Branching Out, there were many people threatening to boycott this movie. However, now that the network has aired it, viewers are gushing over this movie. What did viewers say on the network’s Facebook page? The network is applauded for being relevant. This movie is described as “magical.” Moreover, they want a sequel!

On Sarah Drew’s Instagram, one fan already planned out for two sequels. “Love Love this movie. Part 2 the wedding. Part 3 new baby.”

What Is Branching Out About?

Hallmark’s Branching Out stars Sarah Drew, Juan Pablo Di Pace, and Cora Bella. Viewers loved their performances, as well as that of the supporting cast. What is this movie about? According to IMDb, “To help build a family tree, single mom Amelia tracks down her daughter’s biological father. It becomes a journey of trust, love, and discovering the meaning of family.”

Many people pointed out how good the writing and direction were in this movie. This movie was written by Joie Botkin, who also wrote 3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost,  and directed by Maclain Nelson, who is known for both of the Haul Out The Holly movies.
