Honey Boo Boo Angers Fans Hustling For College Cash

When Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson was headed off to college, she was stressed. She had a $21K/year scholarship but the full tuition was way more than that. Therefore, she needed to ask her mother, Mama June for money to pay for the rest. This was something she did not have and it appeared that she had used all of the money Alana had earned as a child performer. Ultimately, Alana was left with just $33K to her name which was not enough to handle her needs. Especially because she wanted to live off-campus with her boyfriend, Dralin Carswell, and the rents were around $2K/month.

Where’s The Money?

Followers started to wonder why Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson was not taking out student loans. Apparently, someone had asked about this previously but to no avail. Then, it appears Mama June has spoken out, saying she is giving Alana $30K, according to one Redditor:

No one really knows what is going on but many feel that Alana is scamming fans and should just get a real job at this point. Will anyone know the real truth about what is going on with her money? This is highly unlikely.
