What Do We Know About Mystery 101 Now?
Currently, there is no new information on Mystery 101. However, just a few months ago, John Christian Plummer confirmed he has written the eighth movie. Therefore, there is a script.
In addition, Sleuthers will want to remember what Kristoffer Polaha said at Christmas Con last August.
We have every intention of continuing the story of Travis and Amy. We just have to make sure that A: It’s the right way to do it. B: Jill’s available. C: I’m available.”
He also pointed out that “Really, technically, it has only been about a year. We are in TV land.” Kristoffer was managing expectations. He has been in the business for over two decades. He understands that sometimes there is a wait.
Also, in October, when TV Shows Ace interviewed Kristoffer about his new novel Where The Sun Rises, which he co-wrote with Anna Gomez, the Hallmark hunk seemed to share an upbeat prediction about this Signature Mystery Series.
No comment, other than I will say, next steps are becoming much clearer and some amazing news is on the horizon.

Jill Wagner Is Filming Lioness
Currently, Mystery 101 star Jill Wagner is filming Lioness in Spain. This is the series that Jill co-created with Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan. It is about a real-life CIA program called Lioness. The specially trained women are embedded into families of terrorists to take them down before any destruction.
This is a very intense series that also stars Nicole Kidman, Zoe Saldaña, and Morgan Freeman. Although this will not air on Paramount+ until later this year, this is a very gritty series, as opposed to the more tame Hallmark fare.
Kristoffer Polaha Is Filming Hallmark’s A Biltmore Christmas With Bethany Joy Lenz
Kristoffer Polaha and Bethany Joy Lenz are starring in the 2023 Countdown To Christmas movie A Biltmore Christmas. This is a very romantic time-travel romance that promises to be absolutely gorgeous. That is because they are filming at the historic Biltmore Estate.
Both actors have been sharing photos from the set, and it looks fabulous.
When Is The Soonest That Mystery 101 Could Start Filming?
Although we are not privy to Jill Wagner’s schedule, we do know that she will be filming Lioness until sometime in March. There may be more work after they complete filming including ADR.
However, the mother of two may want some quality time with her two young daughters after this intense filming schedule.
As for Kristoffer Polaha, he has stated that he has no upcoming projects after his current 2023 Hallmark Christmas movie. But, he should be filming a second Buried In Barstow movie with Angie Harmon sometime soon. The first movie was very successful for Lifetime, and he has signed up for four movies. Currently, the second movie has been given the green light.
Therefore, it seems that the earliest that Hallmark could start filming a new Mystery 101 movie is sometime in April. Whether this will happen then is a mystery in itself.

They recommend going to social media and liking and commenting on posts. In addition, they suggest emailing or calling Hallmark to let them know you want to see the eighth movie.
