The news was revealed to fans by the host of the show Ultimate Cowboy Showdown country singer Trace Adkins. He went to his Facebook today to share the news saying, “Jackson Taylor was a helluva cowboy. There was no ‘back down’ in him and I’m proud to have known him. Rest in peace, hoss. – Trace.” He didn’t elaborate on what happened to him, though.
Fans were shocked in the comments and sent their condolences to Trace for the loss of his friend.
Plans To Return To Show
Jackson Taylor had planned to return to the show Ultimate Cowboy Showdown. He was on Season 2 of the series and was set to be on Season 4 when it started airing later this year. The show is coming back on September 8, 2023, and Jackson Taylor was supposed to be a contestant once again.
