Jenelle Evans’ son Jace has run away three times recently. This last time he was gone for a while and it turns out that he is saying that his stepdad David Eason allegedly assaulted him. US Weekly is sharing the details about what happened.
Police Report Details Jace’s Claims
Jace’s claims were detailed in police reports by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup. Barbara Evans, Jenelle’s mom says that Jace called her and said he was hiding from his stepdad David. This is allegedly the reason that he ran away this last time when he left out his window. Here is what the police report said:
“Made contact with Barbara who advised [Jace] was not at the residence. She advised that she had spoken to [Jace] earlier in the evening when he called from an unknown number and told her about being assaulted by David Eason and that he ran away and was hiding.”
Barbara didn’t pick him up and if you remember she has had custody of Jace most of his life. He recently went back to his mom Jenelle Evans. Details of the alleged assault haven’t been revealed at this time.

CPS Opens Investigation
It was reported earlier today that CPS has opened an investigation into this case. A source said that Jace isn’t at home with Jenelle and David but instead is in the custody of CPS. Jenelle recently tried to get a protective order against her mother but was unable to do so. As you can see below, Jenelle has been going to X and has a lot to say about the situation.

There have also been reports that Jace is safe, but isn’t back with his mother. Barbara was allegedly seen at the hospital where he was getting checked out. Jenelle went to TikTok saying, “I just want privacy for me and my family right now. Jace has been located, he’s safe…I just want to keep my content away from the drama right now. I want to get back to making normal content, so if I don’t address certain issues, please don’t badger me for it. Thank you.” It sounds like she doesn’t want to explain to anyone what is going on even though her fans really do want to know.
