What Is Lifetime’s Bad Behind Bars: Jodi Arias About?

According to  The Futon Critic,  Jodi Arias (Sinden) was arrested and charged with murdering her boyfriend. Therefore, she is sent to prison. Jodi must wait there before she stands trial.

While in jail, Jodi starts to charm everyone there. She even makes friends with two inmates there, Donavan Bering and Tracy Brown. Soon, the trio spends all of their time together. Moreover, Donavan and Tracy are willing to do whatever Jodie asks of them. That includes agreeing to Jodi tattooing her name on one of the two.

Because Donovan was released before Jodi’s trial, she willingly went out and defended Jodi on social media and other platforms. However, when the trial starts and the details emerge, it seems that what Jodi told them and the evidence do not match.

Therefore, Donovan stops defending Jodi. Now, Jodi’s “vengeful side emerged.”

More Ripped From The Headlines Movies

One of Lifetime’s most popular movie series is Ripped From The Headlines. These are true crime stories that are taken from the headlines, or inspired by the headlines. Some of the 2022 titles include An Amish Sin and House Of Chains.

Coming up in early 2023, there will be a slew of thrillers inspired by true stories. They include How To Murder Your Husband. This stars Cybill Shepherd and Steve Guttenberg.

Based on a true story, Nancy Crampton-Brophy (Shepherd), seemed to have a knack for writing about murder. The Portland-based romance-thriller novelist authored books about relationships that were tumultuous while using seductive men on the covers to lure in her readers. Often, her books featured women protagonists who fantasized about killing their own husbands or fleeing their husbands and faking their own deaths. And then, in 2022 in a shocking turn of events, Brophy was convicted of killing her own husband.

How To Murder Your Husband premieres on Saturday, January 14, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on Lifetime.
