There has been one couple on Season 14 of MAFS that fans have not been thrilled with. Well, at least one-half of one marriage. Fans are not loving Alyssa Ellman. In fact, many want to “smack” her for her harsh treatment of her new husband Chris Collette. So far it doesn’t seem things are going in their favor. While it’s possible they worked things out it doesn’t really seem likely. There have actually been hints and rumors flying around that indicate Alyssa and Chris may have divorced.
MAFS Chris and Alyssa
Things started off horribly for this newlywed couple. Alyssa Ellman wasn’t exactly thrilled when she walked down the aisle to an excited awaiting Chris Collette. She’s mentioned that physical attraction is important to her. Alyssa also made it clear that she didn’t think her new husband was really her type.
Photos have surfaced recently that revealed what appears to be Alyssa’s type. The men she dated in the past or at least five years ago tended to be rather built.
Alyssa and Chris were having issues already after their wedding ceremony. In fact, she claims some things others said bothered her and she didn’t even want to spend their wedding night together. She walked out on him on their wedding night. Poor Chris was confused and didn’t know what he had said or done wrong.
Alyssa is obviously not even making an effort currently to get to know her new husband. Many believe she does not have an open mind and should never have been cast for the show.
The hints
Rumor has it that Chris and Alyssa are divorced. The Cinemaholic shared what people are saying about this couple. Neither Alyssa nor Chris has been open about their current relationship status. They actually all sign a confidentiality agreement that they will not share their status until after the finale.
So, while neither have actually admitted if they are or are not together, most believe they are not. In fact, fans have been saying that Chris was spotted out on a date with another woman. Since they had so many issues initially and there was no physical attraction for Alyssa it seems likely the rumors are true.
Some are also saying that they even ended things before decision day and didn’t even move in together.
