Porsha Williams Denies Running Away From ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Drama

Porsha Williams was involved in a supposed love triangle on the show. She pulled the plug on her working relationship with the Real Housewives of Atlanta a little after her engagement was announced to Simon Guobadia. At the time, he was married to the Real Housewives of Atlanta recurring ‘friend’ Falynn Pina. Porsha Williams and Falyn Pina were supposedly still friends during the show and that was one of the reasons why many critics accused her of “stealing” her husband.

Speaking to People magazine in a new interview, Porsha Williams cleared up a few things. While a lot of Real Housewives of Atlanta fans couldn’t help but wonder if the starlet left the show because of all the controversy surrounding Simon Guobadia and their romance, Porsha Williams says that wasn’t the case at all. In fact, Porsha Williams says that the last thing she would do is run away from a situation that she doesn’t think she’s guilty of.

Porsha Williams Is Not Closing The Door On A Return Just Yet

Porsha Williams set the record straight on the rumors without hesitation. She said, “I don’t think any of my followers who truly knew me would believe that I would run away from the show for that,” but also added, “I’ve dealt with a lot of harsh things on the show. And I’ve been there at the beginning of every season to film, with the camera on. So no, this had nothing to do with that.”

Even though Porsha Williams did agree to come back for the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, she’s not eager to go back to Atlanta. However, she did say that she’ll still leave the door open for a possible return. However, that’s only if she sees some significant changes. She put it this way, “It would be great if we brought back the RHUGT energy to these shows. The ‘Hey, let’s let all that go. Let’s really get to know each other. Let’s dig in and form real relationships with each other, and really have fun. Stop thinking about the camera. Just enjoy yourself and be yourself.’ And I think if we did that, we’ll end up having more positive, fun seasons.”
