Scott Disick, best known for his role on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and his home renovation show Flip It Like Disick, is revealing a surprising missed opportunity in his career. In the latest episode of The Kardashians titled “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” Disick shared that he was offered a role in an Adam Sandler movie at the beginning of last year. However, due to a mix-up with his assistant, he had to turn it down.
Scott’s Assistant Declined An Opportunity
During a conversation with Khloé Kardashian, she jokingly asked, “Big word on the street — you’re a fucking actor?” Disick responded humorously, saying, “That’s what they’re telling me.” While it was all in good fun, it turns out that Disick’s acting potential is no joke. According to Disick, Netflix has been reaching out to him for multiple projects. But there was one that he especially regrets not taking.
Disick revealed that his assistant, who was new to the job at the time. Accidentally turned down the offer without consulting him first. He explained, “They offered me a movie at the beginning of the year, but my assistant — she was new at the time — she told them I couldn’t make it. Didn’t ask me. So I passed on an Adam Sandler movie.”
Despite missing out on the role, Disick expressed deep admiration for Sandler, calling him a “legend.” He even said that he would have done the movie “for free” if given the chance. This surprising admission shows that Disick isn’t just interested in reality TV and home renovation but also has a passion for acting.

Though Disick didn’t name which movie he was offered, Sandler has multiple projects in the works with Netflix. One of the most exciting is a coming-of-age film titled Jay Kelly, which is set to release in fall 2025. The movie will star Hollywood heavyweights like George Clooney, Laura Dern, Billy Crudup, Riley Keough, and Greta Gerwig. Another major project is Happy Gilmore 2, a sequel to the classic 1996 comedy. The movie will feature returning stars such as Julie Bowen, Dennis Dugan, and Ben Stiller. Alongside cameos from Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and rapper Eminem.
Although Scott Disick doesn’t have many acting credits on his resume, his career in reality television and renovation has kept him in the public eye. He appeared in two episodes of the web series Youthful Daze in 2015 and also had a guest spot on Royal Pains in 2014. It looks like Disick may be looking to follow in the footsteps of Kim Kardashian.
