Sharna Burgess Reacts To Claims She’s Making Her Boys Be Girls

TV Shows

More people have felt comfortable coming out as transgender over the recent years. For a long time, folks had to hide who they truly were for fear of being rejected or tossed aside by society. Fortunately, that’s often no longer the case. Celebrity families are a huge part of the ever-changing landscape of society. For instance, Dwyane Wade has a transgender daughter who now goes by Zaya. He was very open and welcoming as his daughter first came out and started to be comfortable with herself. Another celebrity couple in the limelight for these same reasons is Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green. However, some allegations are coming towards Burgess concerning her kids.

What Some People Are Saying About Sharna Burgess

Plenty of news outlets are placing Burgess under fire by claiming she and Green are forcing their boys to be girls. The evidence that tons of folks point to is that Burgess hasn’t cut her two-year-old son’s hair yet. However, Burgess addressed these accusations. On the Between Us Moms podcast, Burgess said:

“We already get media articles like I’m forcing Zane to be a girl because I haven’t cut his hair yet or the ridiculous people saying that the kids are being forced to be girls. I don’t understand it.”

Burgess is clearly annoyed at people prying into her family life, since what she and her children do doesn’t affect anyone else on the outside world. Burgess was also asked if she’d have any interest in doing a reality show at some point in the future. She put any ideas of that to bed by saying:

“We’ve had people interested and I get why. There’s so much that I’m sure people would love to know about what happens in our household and having such a busy chaotic life, and it’s fun but it’s also just not me. I think I want to keep my kids out of that and I certainly know Brian and Megan want to. I want to keep them out of that.”

Burgess is engaged to Green, who shares three kids with Megan Fox. Everyone in the immediate circle between Burgess, Green, Fox, and Fox’s longtime on-and-off partner Machine Gun Kelly seems to be on the same page with how to co-parent their children. Burgess also discussed if she’d allow her children to chase dreams in the entertainment industry. She responded with:

“Should they choose to be in this industry because they love an art form that has them in the public eye, then we address that.”

Burgess doesn’t want to force any lifestyle on her kids that they might not want, which is exactly how it should be. Kids should be kids. They should feel free to find their own paths.
