Sister Wives returns in September. The trailer gave a small subliminal hint as to where the show is headed for Season 17. Yet, there is so much turmoil within the Brown family. However, Janelle Brown continued to find her voice in Season 16 and now she is sharing what makes her heart burst.
Sister Wives: A Family In Shambles
When viewers last left the Brown family, they were in a bad state. Christine had exited after over twenty years of marriage to Kody. More so, there were rumors that both Meri and Janelle were following suit. Was Kody going to be left as a monogamist? Plus, he had extremely strained relationships with a handful of his children. His pandemic protocols were so over the top that he butted heads with two of Janelle’s sons, Garrison and Gabriel.
Even Christine’s son, Paedon has said he does not have a great relationship with his father. Their daughter, Ysabel, has rebelled against her father while some of his out-of-state kids don’t even visit. Luckily, Janelle, Christine, and their children have maintained a tight bond sans Kody. They travel and have parties together while always maintaining a glow. However, it does not change the fact that the family is in such disarray.
From the Season 16 tell-all, it was evident that the only wife Kody has a trie connection with is his fourth wife, Robyn. Meri revealed he has not been intimate with her and a decade yet she is dedicated to the family. As for Janelle, he admitted that they have a love for each other but it’s merely a friendship. With Christine living in Utah, what is left? Luckily, in the middle of all the ups and downs, Janelle keeps finding things that find her contentment. Now, she is sharing why her heart is ‘bursting.’
Happiness Abounds
Janelle Brown was the epitome of a protective mama in Season 16 of Sister Wives. Three of her children were still living at home, Savanah, Garrison, and Gabe. Kody maintained that Gabe was too social because he was in school and had a girlfriend. On the Garrison front, he was an essential worker who Kody also felt was being too social. Yet all he was doing was literally going to work and coming home. Kody wanted Janelle to evict the boys as they were potential Covid carriers but she refused. Garrison had been in the National Guard so they never had to pay for anything. Now he was saving for a down payment and Janelle was adamant she would not abandon her children.

It also appears her kids will never abandon her. Earlier, Janelle shared a photo of her and her son, Hunter on Instagram. Apparently, he graduated from Johns Hopkins back in May with his Masters in Nursing. Now, he is living “local-ish” and her heart is “bursting.” This is the first time he has lived near her in seven years with the exception of some time during the pandemic. She is over the moon and for good reason. Welcome home, Hunter!
