During Sister Wives Season 19, there have been many speculations that scenes are being staged. For example, Robyn and Kody Brown fought in the driveway on the wintery day, the game night, and even rewritten history on their behalf. Likewise, fans have noticed choppy cuts to scenes with edits presumably about Garrison Brown. But after watching the latest episode, fans aren’t sure Kody and Meri Brown’s moving scene is real either. Undoubtedly, they previously sat down and tried to clear the air after Meri requested a release from the marriage. Then, they get together with Meri’s sister Rebekah Dilts, and her husband, Nathan Dilts.
Seemingly, their one disgruntled talk was followed by meeting up as amicable divorcees. They casually load her furniture to give to the Dilts and Meri is full of pep and newfound energy. Likewise, Kody chuckles and acts like he is hanging out with an old buddy. But fans notice somewhat of an aloof attitude that makes them wonder if it is all about the money.

On Reddit, Sister Wives fans are suspecting that Kody and Meri Brown’s “moving” scene is a ruse. First, a user starts the conversation by saying, “Meri’s demeanor through this divorce.” Then, they add, “The way her and Kody are so casual around each other and almost acting like they don’t care, makes me think the divorce has been mutually agreed upon for years and they’ve been faking this relationship for the show/money. That’s why they’re so friendly being around each other.”
- Another fan says, “I think Meri shies away from conflict with Kody and her nervousness comes out through her laughter. Kody has been ‘faking’ it for years with her, but it’s been easy to let the relationship carry on as he never actually saw her or have her any answers.”
