‘Sister Wives’: Robyn Brown’s Diabolical Side Shines

Sister Wives fans have long been skeptical of Robyn and her motives. It has been believed she possibly did what she could in order to get Kody for herself. Now, old footage spanning from different seasons is showing Robyn has been sneaky all along. She was just all too good at hiding her ways behind her “tears.”

The Sister Wives Blindly Welcome Robyn Brown

In 2010, viewers met the Brown family with the original three wives. They were living in Utah with their twelve kids and one husband, Kody. At the time, Christine was pregnant with her six child and they were in the process of welcoming a possible fourth wife. After Kody proposed to Robyn, viewers felt extremely uncomfortable watching the two kiss while Christine was in labor. The other spiritual wives did not do such a thing as it was frowned upon to kiss a married man. Things got worse when the wives went wedding dress shopping with Robyn. They believed it was a sweet bonding moment for the four ladies.

Ultimately, they were blindsided when Kody revealed he was the one who picked out Robyn’s dress. He cackled upon sharing this information on-screen in a group confessional. It made Christine and Janelle sick because he did not care what they wore. This should have been an early indication that Robyn was not a team player and only thinking about what was best for her. Yet they still welcomed her with opened arms. As time went on, it became clearer that she was more about what was best for Robyn and less about the whole family.

Since Season 16 has ended, fans have taken to rewatching old episodes of Sister Wives. In doing so, small clips of Robyn’s sneaky side have slyly come out. It’s a “blink and you miss it” situation but they are there. Redditors have posted them and the comments have piled up, starting with Robyn and her wedding dress. “This was a huge red flag for me. Who does that?” one asked. Another clip showed Robyn discussing Garrison entering the National Guard after he excitedly announced he was sworn in. She was against him going, sharing her brother signed up so she hid his paperwork. Robyn confessed she wanted to do the same to Garrison.

A Reddit thread started over this clip in which a fan referred to Robyn as “manipulative.” One Redditor noted: “Notice the no eye contact when Robyn says she hid her brothers paperwork 2 or 3 times. Lies all lies! She just loves to wanna sound like a hero that she’s not. She full of bs!” Another added: “She is outright admitting how sneaky and manipulative she is.” Interestingly enough, Kody wanted to evict Garrison from Janelle’s home during the pandemic since he was staying there. He was done with the Guard and had been working to save up for a home.
