The View Season 27 is off to a hot start.
Season 27 kicked off on Tuesday, September 5, and things are already getting hot. This season, there were no casting changes. So, hosts Ana Navarro, Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Joy Behar, and Sunny Hostin are all a part of the action. Sadly, Whoopi was out with Covid and missed the premiere.
One of the first topics discussed in the new season was wedding attire. During the Hot Topics segment, Ana, Alyssa, Sara, Sunny, and Joy chatted, offering advice to a woman who needed help.

The hosts talked about someone whose sister-in-law needed the perfect outfit to wear to her wedding. During this conversation, Joy also mentioned that she is going to a wedding herself. She wanted to know what to wear as a guest at an outdoor wedding.
As the hosts weighed in, they also brought up the fact that some brides are now making specific requests for their guests’ attire. These days, it’s going beyond dress code requests, such as cocktail or semi-formal. Now, some brides are asking their guests to wear certain colors. And The View hosts think this is absurd. It sounds like Ana had an especially strong opinion though.
During the heated conversation, Ana went off, voicing her strong opinion. She said, “Brides often get a little affected, but this lady is koo-koo crazy, because she screamed at the sister in law, she told her it was not about her…”
Then, the audio went out, proving that the producers felt they had no choice but to mute Ana. It sounds like she overdid it, taking it a little too far. She might have used language that wasn’t appropriate or said something a little too harsh. The View fans don’t know exactly what Ana said because the audio was cut off.
During and after this silence, Ana’s co-hosts didn’t have much to say on the topic. They may not have known how to react to whatever bold, passionate statement Ana made on the air.
