Is TLC exploiting a grieving Tammy Slaton at her late husband, Caleb Willingham’s funeral? The 1000-Lb. Sisters star was visibly shaken over the passing of Caleb. Yet, she has been doing her best to keep herself and her life on track. Now that the time for the funeral has arrived, clearly, it has not been easy. TLC Exploits A Grieving Tammy Slaton At Late Hubby’s Funeral?

It’s been roughly a month since Tammy Slaton’s husband, Caleb Willingham sadly passed away at the age of forty. The two met while they were both in a rehab facility for weight loss. It appeared that he knew where Tammy was getting treatment, so he opted to head there, as well. She was desperate to get to her goal weight of 550 pounds so that she could get weight loss surgery but felt like she was hitting a wall. Finally, she reached more than she needed to and got the life-changing surgery.

Tammy Slaton met and formed a strong bond with Caleb and within weeks, he proposed to her. They wed at the facility but she eventually went home. The weight started to drop and rumors flew that her marriage was over or that she had met someone new. Season 5 of 1000-Lb. Sisters started to film and she looked better than ever. Sadly, as Tammy was living her best life, Caleb passed away and fans were worried it would set her back. Now it is time for the funeral but did that stop TLC from filming?

According to The Sun, the funeral was held Sunday, July 30th. By Tammy’s side was her sister, Amy Halterman. Tammy was seen wiping away tears and was visibly shaken from what was going on. This funeral was considered a celebration of life and really only consisted of Tammy’s close friends and family. More so, it happened in Kentucky which is far from where Caleb was from so this was special just for Tammy.

The big question was if this special moment was arranged by TLC for Tammy Slaton so that they could film her pain. Of course, it is unclear if this will be used for Season 5 of 1000-Lb. Sisters or if Tammy just wanted the day captured for her own memories. However, it did appear to be a production event and it will be a heartwrenching handful of episodes. Season 4 was bittersweet watching Tammy go up and down then achieve her milestone and finally find love. Now, she is looking better than ever but her heart is broken.
