What is Next For Nathan And Elizabeth In WCTH Season 12?
Hearties are still swooning over Nathan and Elizabeth’s first kiss in the penultimate episode of WCTH Season 11. However, Erin Krakow and Kevin McGarry hint that this is just the beginning. Speaking to ET, Kevin shares that they will enjoy a honeymoon phase. However, they first need to tell the kids. Moreover, Elizabeth wants to tell Lucas before they start smooching in public. But, Kevin does share that the couple will be fundamentally focused on Hope Valley.
When they’re not in the honeymoon phase, I think both of them will go back to the roots of being helpers and protectors of the town, and they’ll combine their strengths. That will dictate a lot of the storyline of those two characters going forward.
McGarry shares that friendship and the need to focus on the town is something that binds the couple. “What’s so great about the relationship that Nathan and Elizabeth have had is a lot of it has been built on this strong foundation of friendship and support and this idea to help others.” Moreover, this “combining their strength” is going to continue in Season 12.
But, Erin does want Hearties to “see them getting to know each other as boyfriend girlfriend.” But, “combining their families” will be a top priority.
When Calls The Heart Season 12 Starts Production Soon
Although WCTH Season 11 has one last episode left, Hearties are already looking to the future. That is because the cast and crew are going to reconvene at the Jamestown Film Set in the Vancouver, BC area to film Season 12. Production starts on July 15, and it will run until early November.
Now that fans know a bit of what to expect from Nathan and Elizabeth, what else could happen next season?
Well, if it were up to Jack Wagner, his character Bill Avery would have a romance. He is ready for Bill to romance a lady in Hope Valley. Will the latest showrunner Lindsay Sturman indulge him? As for Chris McNally, he would like to see some sort of interaction between Lucas and his father.
