Hearties who expected to have to wait for the finale episode of WCTH Season 11 to get the first kiss between Elizabeth and Nathan got a big surprise on Sunday. The penultimate episode of the Hallmark series entitled “Run To You” was full of action, and some big fireworks. After a season of a slow-burning romance, they finally did it.

There were fireworks in Hope Valley on Sunday night. The WCTH Season 11 penultimate episode entitled “Run To You” featured a big statement and kiss, after a lot of drama. Now, Elizabeth and Nathan are officially a couple. What do Erin Krakow and Kevin McGarry say about this?
Speaking to Deidre Behar at ET, Kevin shared that first, Elizabeth had a few things to say to Nathan first. “I think it was Elizabeth’s turn to finally tell him what I think everybody [has been] waiting to hear [since] three seasons ago when Nathen did it.”
Erin continued with how her character reached this moment where she could bare her heart. “I think that Elizabeth had gone through quite a journey of self-discovery and analysis and late-night chats with Rosemary. She did all of the work in Season 10 to kind of figure out what she really wanted and she didn’t feel right for her anymore.”
The result was a moment of vulnerability. The result was the kiss. Kevin shared the enthusiasm that Team Nathan now feels. “Five seasons coming, we finally got that moment!”
Erin Krakow and Kevin McGarry Are Good Friends In Real Life
In real life, WCTH costars Erin Krakow and Kevin McGarry are good friends. Their friendship is so close that they double date with their real-life loves, Ben Rosenbaum, and Kayla Wallace, on vacation. Erin and Ben have a cute rescue dog named Willoughby, while Kevin and Kayla are engaged to be married. Therefore, it could be a little tricky when the friends have that first onscreen kiss.
Kevin explained “We’re professional actors and great friends, so it’s part of the job. We both knew how important it was, so maybe there was a bit of nerves going in. It was a new realm that we haven’t really done yet.”
However, Kevin says that now this big kiss has happened, the couple has turned to a new phase in their relationship. They will “be in the honeymoon phase for a little bit.”
