On Sunday, March 13, DJ Boof shared a rare photo of himself with Wendy Williams. The photo shows her looking at her good friend with a smile on her face. The former radio personality wore a black zip hooded sweatshirt, which she paired with a matching T-shirt and jogging pants. Meanwhile, the DJ rocked a similar look, which he wore with a white T-shirt and a red baseball cap.
Wendy smiled and put her hand on his arm as he blocked his ears. DJ Boof captioned the snapshot: “I don’t wanna hear it🤣 ‘2022.’” The couple is taking on a new attitude to this year’s current events. Or, maybe it’s their way of shutting out the latest news that her show has been canceled.

The two weren’t on speaking terms after he left the show in 2021. The show reportedly fired him prior to the cancellation. However, the two have since repaired their friendship as he shared a photo of the two together on Instagram. DJ Boof visited Wendy Williams since he was in town.
He’s currently working a gig during spring break, which led to their meeting. The two seem to be on good terms once again. Wendy hasn’t been on her talk show since July 2021. In September 2021, she announced that she’s focusing on her health struggles.
DJ Boof was fired from the show
DJ Boof left The Wendy Williams Show before it was canceled. He admitted that he was concerned with the talk show host’s declining health. However, he felt that his fellow colleagues weren’t feeling the same way. This led him to his reported firing.
“Y’all have no idea what’s really going on and everyone there is afraid to speak up because they don’t wanna lose their jobs… This is going to play out bad… I feel sorry for the workers and victims.”
