Wendy Williams Fans Never Saw Cognitive Issues, Rapid Decline?

Wendy Williams fans claim that they never saw any cognitive issues so they are questioning if she had a rapid decline. She had her own talk show from 2008 through 2021 and was always fun and bubbly. Therefore, viewers have some questions, and understandably so. Read on for more details.

Wendy Williams Fans Never Saw Cognitive Issues, Rapid Decline?

It has been a very hard time for former talk show host, Wendy Williams. She was always extremely high-energy and bubbly which fans loved. There was one Halloween when she toppled over but later claimed it was very hot in her costume. That was the culprit behind her awkward collapse but she always seemed on her game and no one ever noticed anything all that off. Now that it has been revealed that she has frontotemporal dementia and aphasia, it feels like it came on overnight. Though she has been struggling for about a year, this was not while her show was airing.

Now, a Reddit thread has been started to discuss the timelines of Wendy’s illness and if any other viewers ever noticed her decline. The OP wrote this:

After reading this assessment, what did other fans and followers have to say? Did they agree that it must have come on rather quickly or was there more that people just didn’t see?

There Were Signs

It does appear that those who paid very close attention saw the small signs of something going on with Wendy Williams. They noticed she was a different person as the years went on but it was not a huge change. At the same time, other interviews she did were brought up. Someone noted her final interview with Andy Cohen on his radio show. This follower shared that even Cohen struggled to keep her on track and that she was not in a good place. Maybe those who really loved watching her did not want to think that something could be seriously wrong.
