Wendy Williams has fired her management team and is only speaking to her son and ex-husband Kevin Hunter, according to The Sun.
Sources who have talked to the publication said that means the talk show host has fired both her long time manager and her recent crisis manager.
It appears that she hasn’t just fired them. She’s completely cut them off. The same sources who are reporting the star fired them said they do no have a way to get in contact with her at this point.
Of course, it appears there’s a rather odd reason for that.
“No one has no way to get in contact with Wendy,” sources claimed. “She doesn’t even have her own phone anymore.”
Wendy Williams Fires Her Managers And Goes Quiet
The insider claimed her crisis manager was brought on by the show’s production company. Further, that particular manager but was never hired by Wendy herself.
Of course, according to the show’s production company, they never hired the manager. Knowing that it’s not entirely clear who was paying his salary or why he was fired.
The crisis manager Howard Bragman, was brought on in September. That was just two days after Wendy Williams was transported to a New York City hospital. She was sent there for a psychiatric evaluation.
It turns out that Wendy Williams’ other manager, Bernie Young was also hired on the request of the production company. However, she did agree to the hiring and had seemingly been fairly happy with the situation. That is until the last couple of days.
Health Is Still A Problem
It’s also not exactly clear if the talk show host is the one who made the call about firing her managers. In part, because she’s not communicating with people much at all these days. While she’s shared some social media posts in the last few weeks, she still isn’t really speaking in public.
The fact that she doesn’t have her own phone, makes it hard for either person fired to get ahold of her and get a reason why.
There’s also the fact that she has problems when it comes to her memory, according to people close to her.
One insider alleged Wendy Williams has days where she doesn’t know who Bernie or Howard are. It turns out that sometimes she struggles to recognize even longtime friends at times.
Strange Releases
It appears that things came to a head after the talk show host was replaced by her production company. Bragman issued a statement that was supposedly on her behalf. Her Instagram account then posted a note saying that Bragman was not allowed to make statements on her behalf.
Of the things that haven’t become very clear since all this went down, is just who was using Wendy Williams’ account. Was it the talk show host or someone else?
