Is MBFFL returning for another season?
TLC has a tendency to wait until the last minute to cancel or renew shows. Popular shows OutDaughtered and Little People, Big World are still awaiting renewal news.
However, some stars can’t help but slip and confirm filming for a new season. Sister Wives stars Meri and Robyn Brown recently confirmed the show is filming for Season 17.
Whitney Way Thore has dropped news about the fate of her show. My Big Fat Fabulous Life WILL return for Season 10, though a premiere date has yet to be determined.
She shared the news during an Instagram Stories Q&A where she confirmed or debunked fans’ assumptions about her. Thore further elaborated in a post on her main feed.
“The assumption that I’ve quit television is not correct. We are currently working hard on a new season for you! Can you believe the next will be season TEN?” – Whitney Way Thore, Instagram.

One thing fans won’t see on the TLC show is Whitney Way Thore’s mysterious French boyfriend. After spending six weeks in France in 2021, it seems the couple may be taking the next step in their relationship.
During the Q&A, a follower sent in the assumption that Thore has taken a pregnancy test within the last six months. “Correct,” the MBFFL star responded.
On her follow-up Instagram post, she wrote that the assumption that she’s pregnant is incorrect, before adding “for now.”
It sounds like the television personality may be actively trying for a baby with her French beau.
During Season 9 of MBFFL, Whitney Way Thore explored her options for having children. Possible ideas included having her friend Heather as a surrogate or freezing her eggs.

TLC star explains why she’s studying Islam after hateful DMs
One of Thore’s Instagram Stories answers riled some of her followers. She wrote that she’s studying the Islam religion. She addressed on her main feed why she’s learning a different religion. According to the reality star, many followers assumed that she knows someone who is Muslim and is learning their religion.
However, Whitney shot that assumption down.
“I’ve simply enjoyed learning about it (as I do all religions and cultures,” she wrote.
She then shared a nasty DM she received. In fact, she said that any time she mentions that she’s not Christian, she gets hateful messages.
In the DM, her follower proclaims they will no longer watch the show, in part because Thore has “zero relationship with God.” The follower further vowed to pray for Thore to find her true calling “through Christ.”
The screenshot also includes another DM calling Thore a “spoiled little girl.”
The TLC star took the hate in stride, writing on her Instagram that she found the messages funny. It’s not the first time she’s clashed with someone on social media.
