Julie Chen Moonves, Big Brother
CBS
People love Reacher, and now it’s official: They also love Neagley. The Reacher spin-off — which puts the spotlight on Maria Sten’s Frances Neagley, Reacher’s former military protégé, who’s now working as a private investigator in Chicago — has been renewed for Season 2 at Prime Video. It’s the first TV renewal announced in October, which is fitting, because Reacher was the last TV renewal announced in September. They’re a package deal! The streamer hasn’t confirmed whether the big guy himself will make another appearance in the spin-off, but hopefully there are Chicago dogs in his future.
The first of October also marked a special occasion for CBS’ Big Brother. In addition to Survivor player Rick Devens winning Season 28, Julie Chen Moonves announced at the live finale that the reality competition series is renewed for two more seasons.
