Dr. Dre has announced via Instagram that he’s “doing nice” after being hospitalized for a reported mind aneurysm.
On Tuesday, TMZ broke the news that the rap icon had been rushed to the hospital, reporting that he had suffered an aneurysm on Monday and was taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Heart in Los Angeles. On the time, he was stated to be “secure and lucid” as he underwent checks.
Late Tuesday evening, Dr. Dre shared a hopeful message on social media, alongside a photograph of himself in a recording studio. “Because of my household, mates and followers for his or her curiosity and properly needs,” he wrote. “I am doing nice and getting wonderful care from my medical group. I will likely be out of the hospital and again residence quickly. Shout out to all the nice medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”
Fellow rapper LL Cool J additionally commented on Dr. Dre’s well being on Tuesday evening, writing on Twitter that “Dre is recovering properly.”
