To have a good time Juneteenth, the vacation commemorating the top of slavery in america, FX is airing an all-day marathon of flicks and TV reveals that honor Black historical past, tradition, and leisure. The marathon will start at 7 a.m. ET on Friday, June 19 with the historic drama movies Hidden Figures and Ava DuVernay‘s Selma.
Beginning at 1 p.m. ET, the community will air a seven-hour marathon of ABC’s black-ish, ending with the 2017 episode “Juneteenth.” This will likely be adopted by a five-hour marathon of FX’s celebrated dramedy sequence Atlanta, together with episodes “B.A.N.,” “Juneteenth,” and “Teddy Perkins.” FX will then wrap issues up with a double screening of Jordan Peele‘s horror movie Get Out.
