Here’s Why The Masked Singer Isn’t on Tonight

Breaking News

So you’re all amped to hunker down for your weekly Wednesday helping of The Masked Singer, but you turn on the TV and find baseball instead. What in the fresh hell? Yeah, your favorite singing competition series was bumped (again) this week, and here’s why.

In order to air Game 7 of the World Series, Fox preempted The Masked Singer, meaning you’ll have to wait another week before you’re returned to your regularly scheduled programming. On the upside, this means that Fox will air back-to-back episodes of The Masked Singer on Wednesday, Nov. 6!

The first episode will air at 8/7c as normal, and then another new episode will follow at 9 p.m.. All 11 contenders will perform, and the show will unmask two of them. To make things even more exciting, though, Anthony Anderson, comedian and star of ABC’s hit series black-ish, will join the judges’ panel in the second hour. To accommodate the schedule change, new episodes of Almost Family will return Wednesday, Nov. 13.

The Masked Singer airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Fox.
