Connecting... TV show on NBC: canceled or renewed for season 2?

NBC has pulled the plug on this group of associates. The peacock community has primarily cancelled the Connecting… TV present so, there gained’t be a second season.

A comedy sequence within the age of social distancing, the Connecting… TV present stars Ely Henry, Jill Knox, Keith Powell, Otmara Marrero, Parvesh Cheena, Preacher Lawson, and Shakina Nayfack. It’s an ensemble sitcom a few group of associates. Like all of us, they’re making an attempt to remain shut (and sane) by means of video chats as they share the highs and lows of lockdown and these extraordinary occasions. The chums are Rufus (Henry), Michelle (Knox), Garrett (Powell), Annie (Marrero), Pradeep (Cheena), Ben (Lawson), and Ellis (Nayfack). Shot remotely, the sitcom is co-created and co-executive produced by Martin Gero and Brendan Gall.

The first season of Connecting… is averaging a 0.33 ranking within the 18-49 demographic and simply 1.51 million viewers. It’s NBC’s lowest-rated scripted sequence of the season.

The community has aired 4 of the comedy’s eight episodes to date. The remaining episodes will probably be launched by way of NBC.com and the Peacock streaming service. Superstore reruns will take over the Thursdays at 8:30 PM timeslot for the fast future.
