One other Netflix sequence has acquired an early discharge. The streaming service has cancelled the Grand Military TV sequence after one season of 9 episodes.

Based mostly on the 2013 play Slut: The Play by Katie Cappiello, the Grand Army TV sequence stars Odessa A’zion, Maliq Johnson, Amalia Yoo, Amir Bageria, Odley Jean, Alphonso Romero Jones II, Brittany Adebumola, and Crystal Sha’re Nelson. The teenager drama revolves round 5 college students who attend the biggest public highschool in Brooklyn as they tackle a chaotic world and wrestle with sexual, racial, and financial politics.

Cappiello created the drama and government produced with Joshua Donen, Beau Willimon, Jordan Tappis, Nicolette Donen, and Elizabeth Kling.

The primary season was launched on October 16th of final 12 months. Previous to the present’s debut, three of the present’s writers reportedly give up the sequence because of claims of “racist exploration and abuse”. It’s unclear if the backstage drama had any impression on the present’s future.
