Kickstarting the new year for anime on Netflix is the upcoming fantasy romance, Bride of the Barrier Master. The brand-new anime stars the voice acting talent of Akari Kitou (Demon Slayer) and Kikunosuke Toya (Chainsaw Man)
Bride of the Barrier Master is an upcoming Japanese anime series based on the popular web novels written by Kureha and illustrated by Bodax. The novels, which currently span seven volumes, have also inspired an eight-volume manga adaptation published by Enterbrain. Animation studio Troyca (Always a Catch, Iron Wok Jan, Dark Moon: The Blood Altar) is producing the series. Tōru Kitahata is attached to direct, with Yūko Kakihara handling the series composition.
When is Bride of the Barrier Master coming to Netflix?
It has been confirmed that weekly episodes of Bride of the Barrier Master will be released on Netflix and other streaming services, starting in January 2027.
An exact release date has yet to be announced, but we expect one soon.
