Off the back of her deserved win for Best Actress at the 5th Blue Dragon Awards, actress Shin Hye Sun will star in SBS’s upcoming legal drama, Dash. Set to be released in the first half of 2027, the K-drama has been confirmed for release on Netflix in South Korea, but its global distribution has yet to be determined. Here’s everything we know so far about Dash on Netflix.
Dash is an upcoming South Korean legal drama directed by Kim Ji Yeon, who previously wrote and directed Call It Love.
When is Dash released on Netflix?
Dash has been confirmed for release sometime in the first half of 2027 and will reportedly follow on from the K-drama Nine to Six.
It has been reported that the only country where Dash has confirmed streaming availability is South Korea, as the drama’s release will coincide with its broadcast on SBS.
Global distribution for the K-drama has yet to be confirmed, but given the strong working relationship between SBS and Netflix following the deal signed in late 2024, we expect to see Dash released globally. For now, we await official confirmation from SBS and Netflix.
Dash has been confirmed for the Wednesday and Thursday time slots. The total episode count and runtimes have yet to be announced.
What is the plot of Dash?
The synopsis has been sourced by Dash:
“Min Hwa Yeong, the chief prosecutor of Special Investigation Division 1 at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office, dedicated her life to justice after her mother’s suspicious death drove her to seek the truth. Rising through relentless determination despite powerful opposition and external pressures, she earns a place in one of the prosecution’s most influential units and launches an investigation into a vast network of corruption and hidden power. But just as she closes in on the truth, her world is shattered when her husband is named the prime suspect in a murder case.”
