’90 Day Fiance’ couple Mary DeNuccio and Brandan DeNuccio lied about Mary having colon cancer

Reality

90 Day Fiance: The Other Way star Mary DeNuccio has confessed that she doesn’t have colon cancer after Brandan DeNuccio had begged fans for money to “save her life.”

Mary had announced on February 16 that she’d been “diagnosed with colon cancer,” and then on February 17, Brandan begged fans to give them money to “remove her colon cancer” and “save” Mary’s life.

Mary and Brandan, who wed on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way’s fifth season last year, went on to raise well over $1,000 via a fundraising page – which has since been flagged and ultimately shut down — for Mary’s surgery.

But now, Mary has revealed that cancer was never her diagnosis.

“I made a mistake and I’m just a human, I’m very sorry everyone,” Mary, 24, wrote via Instagram Stories on February 20, according toUs Weekly.

“Because when the doctor told me I have [a] colon issue I thought that means I have cancer.”

Mary added that she experienced an “anxiety attack” after receiving the health update and had posted online about having cancer “without thinking.”

Although Mary doesn’t have colon cancer, she claimed that her liver is inflamed and she also has a “blood infection, UTI, and hemorrhoids.”

Many fans are therefore accusing Mary of faking cancer and taking advantage of her followers for financial gain.

On the couple’s former fundraising page, Mary revealed that she began having symptoms when she was in high school, including bloody stools.

“I thought it’s normal and [it stopped] for a long time, but it [came] back when I was in college and it [stopped] again and now I poop blood back,” Mary wrote as part of her “Campaign Story” on the fundraising page.

“I’m scared of the surgery after my C SECTION,” Mary said, referring to the birth of her daughter Midnight.

“But the doctor said [it] needs to be removed before it’s too late. I don’t have financial support. I’m the only one working in the family and supporting my family. I hope you will help me. Any amount will help me a lot.”

Mary added, “Please don’t judge me. I don’t want to die. I want to spend my whole life with my daughter.”

Brandan shared a photo via Instagram Stories at the time of the outside of a building, appearing to be a care clinic, with the song “Keep Going” by Common Heights playing in the background.

Brandan tagged Mary in his post and wrote the lyric, “You’re stronger than you think you are,” over the image.

Prior to admitting she never had cancer, Mary had ironically lashed out at trolls and haters for being skeptical of her diagnosis and slamming her amid her health crisis.

“People [reported] my Facebook and I can’t access it anymore. I’m here dealing with a lot of pain and can’t even eat. People are [the] worst. Maybe all of you will be sooooo happy when I die. You don’t know what I’ve been through,” Mary wrote on Instagram earlier this month.

Mary complained at the time about how people weren’t able to see how bad her condition really was.

“If only you are here with me when I vomit, when I have this f-cking painful thing inside my stomach you’ll know,” Mary griped.

“I won’t do any medication or go back to the hospital, and I hope when I die, you will realize that it’s not okay to bash and judge someone [when] you don’t know what’s going on in their lives.”

Mary claimed that Facebook was her only way to make money and support her family.

“IDK what to do now. I lost courage. I lost faith. Seeing all your comments gives me a lot of pain. I’m the only one providing food for my family and needs for my child,” Mary explained.

“Now that I have health problems, I can’t work as a call center agent anymore because I’m night shift and that’s bad for my health. When I die, I want all the bashers to know that it’s not very good to bash and judge people and say bad things to people who you don’t really know.”

Mary wrapped her rant with the following grim statement: “I want you to realize that when I die.”

On 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way’s fifth season, Brandan was shown moving from Oregon to the Philippines to live with Mary, the love of his life.

The couple struggled with financial problems, as the small convenient store they had purchased in town wasn’t exactly bringing in cash. Mary wanted her husband to find a job and support them, and she was also upset because they were fighting all the time.

However, Mary and Brandan had premarital sex against Mary’s religious beliefs and her grandparents’ rules for the couple living under their roof. Mary had baby fever and wanted to get pregnant, and she and Brandan successfully conceived during their first three months together in the Philippines.

Mary was fearful of the future and whether they’d have enough money to raise their baby comfortably, but they ended up getting married anyway.

On the show’s Tell-All special, Mary and Brandan announced they had welcomed their first child together and were growing as a couple.

Brandan admitted he sometimes yelled at Mary and treated her poorly, and so he acknowledged how he could step up and be a better life partner. Mary, for her part, was willing to stand by his side through difficult times in order to keep her family together.
