The cast’s cruise ship will stop in Amsterdam, where Rachel and Gabby will continue their separate journeys to find love after eliminating James “Meatball” Clarke, Michael Vaughan and Mario Vassall at the fifth Rose Ceremony of the season.

The women are hoping rejection is behind them after Logan Palmer, a 26-year-old videographer from San Diego, CA, decided to switch from “Team Rachel” to “Team Gabby,” which devastated Rachel and confused Gabby’s remaining men.

Logan called himself “crazy” for leaving Rachel because he said she’s incredible and beautiful, but the flight instructor shut him down and said, “I’m not trying to be mean, but I get it. No one really wants to hear this.”

Although Logan hurt Rachel and strung her along, Gabby decided to give Logan a rose and continue giving him a chance.

Rachel, however, deemed Logan untrustworthy and worried Logan would hurt Gabby in a similar way he had crushed her.

The men still competing for Gabby’s heart, in addition to Logan, are Erich Schwer, a 29-year-old real estate analyst from Bedminster, NJ; Jason Alabaster, a 30-year-old investment banker from Santa Monica, CA; Johnny DePhillipo, a 25-year-old realtor from Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Nate Mitchell, a 33-year-old electrical engineer from Chicago, IL; and Spencer Swies is a 27-year-old venture capitalist from Chicago, IL.

But Rachel only has five men left in the picture: Aven Jones, a 28-year-old sales executive from San Diego, CA; Ethan Kang, a 27-year-old advertising executive from New York, NY; Tino Franco, a 28-year-old general contractor from Playa Del Rey, CA — who had received Rachel’s First Impression Rose — Tyler Norris is a 25-year-old small business owner from Wildwood, NJ; and Zach Shallcross, a 25-year-old tech executive from Anaheim Hills, CA.

Based on a preview of what’s to come on The Bachelorette, it appears Zach will enjoy another one-on-one date with Rachel in which they’ll visit Keukenhof Tulip Gardens in Amsterdam.

“I can say now with confidence, I am falling in love with you,” Zach tells Rachel in the preview.

“I truly feel like I’m on Cloud 9 right now,” Rachel replies.

Rachel and Gabby are finally feeling appreciated and seen by their respective group of bachelors, and so their decisions are going to become increasingly more difficult.

The women only have two weeks left of dates before they each must choose four men to receive hometown dates.

The Bachelorette season was “hell” to film allegedly

Season 21 The Bachelor star Nick Viall heard before The Bachelorette premiered that producers had filmed part of the season on a cruise ship with stops in Mexico, Paris, Belgium and Amsterdam.

“They said it was hell to film because they decided to have two Bachelorettes, like, last second,” Nick said on his “The Viall Files” podcast.

“So the scheduling was for one Bachelorette. They had to jam it all in… The people I talk to, they hope they never do it again. Just because of the logistics.”

Rachel and Gabby’s The Bachelorette season may include “most dramatic” Rose Ceremony ever

The Bachelorette host Jesse Palmer told TooFab how there are “several” contenders for the “most dramatic Rose Ceremony ever” on this season of The Bachelorette.

“There’s one in particular that I know is going to light up social media in Bachelor Nation, I guarantee it,” Jesse said.

Gabby and Rachel were both spotted filming hometown dates in different cities with seven men, according to Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone.

In late April, Gabby was spotted filming in Bedminster, NJ; New Orleans, LA; Jupiter, FL — three different locations.

And Rachel was seen taping hometown dates in entirely different destinations in late April: Salem, MA; Wildwood, NJ; Orange, CA; and Santa Clarita, CA.

Rachel’s selected the following four men as her Final 4 bachelors: Aven Jones, Tino Franco, Tyler Norris and Zach Shallcross.

Nate Mitchell is sent home before Gabby’s hometown dates

Nate has come across as a frontrunner this season and had an amazing first one-on-one date with Gabby, but Carbone reported Nate got sent home right before the men on Gabby’s team had their hometown dates.

“Nate does not get a hometown,” Carbone wrote in an August 3 blog post. “He was home before then. Gabby sends him home the episode before hometowns.”

Carbone reported in an August 11 blog post that Gabby rejected Nate and sent him home during their second one-on-one date of the season.

Gabby told the cameras she wasn’t sure if she felt ready to be a mother or if she ever wants to be a mother, and so it’s possible Nate being a single father to a young daughter had something to do with his surprising elimination.

Gabby didn’t have a group of Final 4 bachelors

Carbone reported for weeks that he only knew three of Gabby’s Final 4 suitors: Erich Schwer,  Jason Alabaster, and Johnny DePhillipo.

“I really don’t think Gabby only had 3 hometown dates, while Rachel had 4. That would throw things off and wouldn’t make much sense,” Carbone previously wrote in his blog.

Carbone said he had received “a lot of circumstantial evidence” that pointed to Justin Budfuloski, a 32-year-old from Solana Beach, CA, being Gabby’s other Final 4 bachelor.

But Justin has already been eliminated, and it appears Carbone didn’t know about Gabby’s fourth Final 4 bachelor because she only had a Final 3!

Carbone reported in a subsequent August 11 blog post that Gabby eliminated Logan Palmer and Spencer Swies before hometowns and so she never had a Final 4 group.

But Logan Palmer actually quit the show after he got COVID-19

One day after reporting Gabby eliminated Logan before her hometown dates, Carbone — citing new spoilers that emerged during the filming of The Bachelorette season’s The Men Tell All special — reported that Gabby didn’t actually eliminate Logan.

Instead, Logan was forced to quit the show because he caught COVID-19.

“We’ve seen the previews of Jesse telling Logan he has to leave next week. Well, it’s because Logan ended up getting COVID during filming,” Carbone wrote in an August 13 blog posting.

In a May 12 blog post, Carbone revealed that he had received “confirmation” that Johnny DePhillipo from Gabby’s group of men was already back home.

With past seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, the Final 3 person stayed in the final filming location until the show wrapped.

Carbone thought Johnny therefore finished in fourth place, but he corrected himself in his August 11 blog post.

Carbone wrote how Erich Schwer, Jason Alabaster and Johnny DePhillipo were Gabby’s Final 3 bachelors and the only men who received hometown dates with Gabby.

Carbone revealed in a May 12 blog post that Tyler Norris from Rachel’s group of men was back home at the time.

Given Gabby and Rachel’s season was still filming at that point, Tyler’s return home would appear to indicate he was eliminated from the Season 19 competition at the Final 4 Rose Ceremony.

Carbone stands by that information and reported on August 11 how Rachel’s Final 3 bachelors were Aven Jones, Tino Franco, and Zach Shallcross.

Following hometown dates, Gabby, Rachel and their remaining men flew to Mexico, where the Final Rose Ceremony was reportedly filmed on May 14.
Gabby brought Erich and Jason to the end, according to Carbone.

That means Johnny was sent packing in third place.

Carbone initially reported that Aven Jones was eliminated in third place following Rachel’s overnight Fantasy Suite dates, meaning Zach Shallcross and Tino Franco were Rachel’s Final 2 bachelors.

But according to Carbone’s August 11 blog post, Rachel’s Final 2 bachelors were actually Aven and Tino.

Carbone reported that Zach finished in third place and essentially self-eliminated.

A preview shows Jesse telling Zach Shallcross that he must tell Rachel the truth after their overnight Fantasy Suite date.

“Whether it’s him telling Rachel he’s not ready, or that it’s too serious and he’s not there yet with her… I don’t know his wording. But that convo with Jesse [shown in a preview] is a pre-cursor to Zach telling Rachel something that eliminates him at final 3,” Carbone wrote.

Gabby picks Erich Schwer as her winner and gets engaged to him

Carbone wasn’t sure whom Gabby and Rachel picked as their winners — and whether the women got engaged — until his August 11 blog post.

According to Carbone, Gabby ended up with Erich Schwer and he in turn popped the question.

Gabby said “yes” to Erich’s proposal and so the couple got engaged during the season finale.

Jason Alabaster may have quit before Gabby’s Final Rose Ceremony

Carbone apparently heard from three different sources that Jason Alabaster left at the Final 2, but he confirmed that’s only a rumor right now and he can’t say for sure whether that happened.

Gabby ending up with Erich therefore may not have been her choice, technically.

Rachel picks Tino Franco as her winner and gets engaged to him

Rachel told Us Weekly at the start of the season how her experience on the show was “magical.”

Although she’s been shown enduring major ups and downs in the process, Carbone reported on August 11 that Tino Franco proposed marriage at the end of the season and he and Rachel got engaged.

Carbone said the season concluded with two happy endings.

It’s unclear whether Rachel and Gabby are still engaged, but it’s probably safe to assume they are still together with their winners.

The Bachelorette season’s “Men Tell All” special filmed on August 11

The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All was filmed on Thursday, August 11. According to Carbone, neither Hayden Markowitz or Chris Austin attended the filming and Tyler Norris, Logan Palmer and Nate Mitchell were the three bachelors who spent time in the hot seat.

Nate was reportedly briefly asked about the recent allegations his ex-girlfriend and another woman he also dated before The Bachelorette made against him and denied he had ever been exclusive with either woman.

Jesse recently said The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All is sure to be explosive, as well as After the Final Rose.

“I’m not ready for it. I’m gonna take some time and get myself mentally ready, but there’s gonna be a lot to have to digest, go back over and clarify and get closure,” Jesse explained.

“Rachel and Gabby’s season is not short on drama. That is for sure,” he added. [And] as you know, Men Tell All, that’s going to be an absolute circus… There’s gonna be a lot to discuss, a lot of very difficult conversations.”
