According to ABC, “Rodney is a glass-half-full kind of guy,” but he felt like an “underdog” throughout Michelle’s season since he was never the tallest, biggest or most handsome guy in the room.

However, Rodney said he was bringing a big smile and heart to the table, and Michelle noted how Rodney made her feel “safe,” like she could definitely trust him.

Michelle therefore told Rodney during a one-on-one date that he wasn’t an underdog in her eyes.

“I’m definitely developing strong feelings for Michelle, and I can definitely see that developing into love. It’s scary and it’s exciting, and it’s really amazing. I truly feel like Michelle could be the love of my life,” Rodney gushed to the cameras.

As the weeks progressed, Michelle continued to give Rodney “goosebumps.”

“I am so obsessed with this amazing and beautiful woman!” Rodney gushed before hometown dates. “I feel confident going into this Rose Ceremony but I’m still nervous because you don’t know what’s going to happen.”

Until viewers can watch Rodney and Michelle’s relationship grow on The Bachelorette, let’s learn a little bit about this charming bachelor right now.
